Timeline for 64-bit Windows community edition?

Jeff Nelson
Hi,

The Concourse project is an open source database that uses the community edition of the wrapper. We'd like to add support for Windows, but that depends on being able to use the 64-bit Windows version of the wrapper. Is there a timeline for when this will be made available under the Community Licensing Agreement? If it is not on the horizon, are there suggested workarounds?

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Timeline for 64-bit Windows community edition?

Simon Krenger
Hi Jeff,

As you might have noted, the source for the Community Edition is readily available. However, there is no compiled version for the Java Service Wrapper available from Tanuki.

This is why I compile these wrappers for 64-bit Windows myself and make them available on my website: https://www.krenger.ch/projects/
So if you are looking for a compiled version of the wrapper for Windows x64, you can find that there. Please note that new releases are often available a few weeks after their release and not earlier, although I try to provide new versions as soon as possible.

All the best,
Simon
